The School in China in 2008
The Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique is currently in the process of setting up a new training course in China. This initiative aims at educating designers specializing in the conception of items adapted to the Chinese market.
Immersed in purely Chinese economic and cultural environments for 2 years (4th and 5th years of the degree), the students will endeavor to address new design issues with a view to integrating French or European companies eager to work in collaboration with Chinese counterparts. Their skills will be likely to appeal to companies willing to benefit from the tremendous opportunities offered by a rapidly expanding and blossoming country.
Place where the school’s Chinese branch will be established : QINGDAO.
This highly industrialized city - partner of the Pays de la Loire Region - is currently experiencing a strong economic boom and is located in a strategic zone, a few hours away from Beijing and Shanghai. Already thriving with 8 million inhabitants (greater area included), it keeps growing while preserving its enjoyable quality of life. Moreover, the city will host the sailing events of the 2008 Olympic Games.
