When China-based creative professionals meet the students enrolled in the school’s Chinese subsidiary institution...

The first two class weeks at L’École de design Nantes Atlantique’s subsidiary institution in Qingdao - from February 16 to 27th - were highlighted by the presence of a number of China-based creative professionals who have been exploring this specific market for a few years now and were invited as teaching guests for one seminar-sessions.

Christine Wang - an Expert in Human Factors at IDEO Shanghai - gave a brilliant overview of the research methods and creative processes implemented by the famous American agency.

Suzette Tsang - Trends Analyst at NIKE Shanghai - revealed the students her most efficient tools for analyzing what Chinese teenagers want and long for.

Kyle Shiau - Product Designer for the Taiwan-based company ASUS - suggested a series of creative angles and orientations to face the ongoing worldwide crisis.

Jonathan Li - Product Designer within the interaction design agency ASENTIO, a graduate from the MIT - explained at length his vision of design agency management in China, addressing the issues of design process and human resources.

Carine Babot - a Graphic Designer who graduated from French institution ENSAD and settled in China eight years ago - taught students the basics about visual communication in China.
